Frequently Asked Questions

How far ahead should I reach out to plan my trip?
As soon as you've decided to travel! For best results, reach out to me at least 60 days prior to your dates. The sooner the better.

Do you book airfare?
I can but I specialize in on the ground experiences. Most clients choose to book their own flights. This is best because when handling any issues with flight delays, etc, it is best to handle them in person at the airline desk. Plus, Airlines very rarely offer commission to agents , therefore a ticketing fee of $100 will be charged when booking.

How does all this work, how do you offer free service for booking hotels?
Hotels pay a commission to travel advisors at a much smaller scale than online agencies like Expedia or Booking.com. Hotels and other partners love working with human agents because we put a lot of effort into recommending the right places to our clients. They give us perks such as a free room upgrade , spa credits, dining credits, daily breakfast, and more while we give them a great client who they enjoy having. Plus they love getting inside intel from us such as someone celebrating a birthday or anniversary so they can set up something special and give even better VIP experiences. Suppliers are way more inclined to do this for travel advisors than someone who books online, because of relationships. This is why I do not a charge a fee when booking qualifying hotels. You get quality personalized service (for the same price you would if you book yourself), the hotel gets quality guests, and I get commission from the hotel. It's a win, win, win!

Can you book Airbnb or VRBO?
Since these properties are individually owned and most do not have a management team that advisors can work with for the best hospitality, I am not able to book or recommend homes through these platforms. If you are interested in a home or villa rental, I partner with a variety of amazing companies that offer professionally hosted and vetted home rentals with inclusions like concierge and chef services. If you prefer to book Airbnb yourself, I am happy to help with itinerary planning (for a fee) and activity recommendations at your destination.
